Hey, there. My name is Jackie and I'm a lifestyle blogger living in Nashville, Tennessee. I grew up in the northeast, which has made me be sarcastic to a fault and pretty much without any sort of verbal filter. It's also made me a lifelong lover of the New York Yankees and Friendly's Reese's Pieces Ice Cream Sunday. (BTW---if you pronounce it "ree SEES" you are saying it wrong. It's "ree SAYS". Trust me, I know this. I can pretty much guarantee that I've been to Hershey Park way more than you have).
Towards the end of High School, my parents kicked up their nomadicness and I spent time in Houston and Wyoming. I hated everything about Houston except the seafood and Wyoming has really given me roadrage since there really isn't any traffic there.
On a whim (and with a prayer), one summer I decided to move across the country to be with my boyfriend, Shawn, who was living in Nashville, Tennessee. It worked out.
That man is now my husband and we bought our first house together shortly before we married. We are now proud parents of our adopted furbaby, Marco.
